Responsibilities

Process engineering support on current production programs and supports overall manufacturing execution to meet cost, quality and delivery targets
Proactively identifies process improvements, and engages with factory and program teams to implement process changes and continuous improvement initiatives for achieving operational excellence
Defines and specifies the requirement for assembly tooling, fixtures and equipment to support current manufacturing operations and recommends changes for production ramp-ups
Help maintain Audit and Production readiness of the factory

Required

Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years work experience or 10+ years of work experience in lieu of degree
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and root cause resolution
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams

Preferred

Effectively communicate status on technical aspects of manufacturing in program production meetings
Familiarity with manufacturing equipment: Manual Wire Bonders, Bond-Pull/Die Shear, Automated measurement systems, X-Ray machines, Solder Reflow Chambers (SRO), manual and auto Pick and Place machines, and/or Wafer Dicing Saws
Experience applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to drive measurable improvement
Knowledge of Wafers and MMIC processing
Dispositioning and further processing of materials at PMRB (rework, repair, regrade, reject, or return to the vendor, no defect found)
