Senior Structures Engineer P3 - (Onsite)
RTX is transforming the future of flight by designing and servicing advanced engines. The Senior Structures Engineer will be responsible for resolving engine disassembly and rebuild issues at the depot and providing structural analysis for military engine exhaust systems.

Responsibilities
Work as an onsite engineer
Provide structural evaluations that may involve consideration of strength, buckling, deflections, vibrations, fatigue life, damage tolerance and/or any other appropriate criterion, using Pratt and Whitney's Engineering Standard Work (ESW)
Strong communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
Work within a team environment with Maintenance Repairs and Overhaul, Design, Project and Durability Engineers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
5 years engineering experience or 3 years with an advanced degree
U.S. Citizen is required, as only U.S. Citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of gas turbine engines, exhaust system
Strong analytical, problem-solving communication, presentation, teaming and collaboration skills
Working knowledge of ANSYS APDL and / or Workbench
Experience analyzing strength, stress, deflection, vibration, fatigue life, and damage tolerance
