Responsibilities
Work closely with design partners in product design, color design and graphic design
Collaborate cross functionally with technical development partners, product management and merchandising teams
Lead the streetwear Jordan Brand design team in creating unique collections across Men’s and Women’s product on a seasonal basis
Develop comprehensive color storytelling and original content creation across seasonal apparel assortments
Build engaging, trend-driven narratives that meet the needs of target consumers
Partner regularly with Development teams to communicate design intent, help with schematic creation and review and workshop prototypes
Manage and design presentation materials and present concepts to teams and leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Design, art or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
5+ years' experience designing and developing innovative apparel or color collections
Passion for Design
Knowledge of form, color, materials, human factors, trend, related to elevating the consumer experience
Ability to translate consumer knowledge and insights into product solutions and narratives
Fearless Calculated risk taker
Experience in technical apparel design
Ability to present new insights or seasonal concepts to small and large groups
Proficient in creating and editing files using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop skills
Must be able to build accurate 2D technical drawings (tech packs)
Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
Preferred
Adobe Creative suit is a plus
3D design program experience is a plus
Knowledge and experience with sustainable design and manufacturing are a plus
Experienced with presentation programs: Keynote, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc
