Apply adult-learning theory and evidence-based instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, agile) to create engaging training across multiple delivery formats (in-person classes, simulation, e-learning, micro-learning and blended learning). The Donation Operations Education and Training Manager shall design and oversee comprehensive education that aligns with organizational goals and regulatory requirements in partnership with departmental subject-matter experts (SMEs)

Provide guidance on learning objectives, sequence, and assessment techniques
Collaborate, establish and manage instructional standards (templates, branding, evaluation rubrics) to ensure consistency and quality across all learning platforms. The Donation Operations Education and Training Manager serves as one of the organization’s subject-matter experts for education
Conduct comprehensive needs assessments by analyzing performance data, regulatory requirements, survey results and interview insights. Identify skill and knowledge gaps at organizational, departmental and individual levels to ensure training addresses employee performance needs

At the direction of the SME leadership only, collect quantitative and qualitative feedback to evaluate training effectiveness. The Donation Operations Education and Training Manager role emphasizes reviewing feedback and quality metrics to adjust programs accordingly
Produce quarterly and annual reports for senior leadership and SMEs, summarizing program impact, compliance status and recommendations for continuous improvement. Revise curricula based on findings and emerging industry best practices
Maintain detailed documentation for all training programs: curricula, lesson plans, assessments, attendance records, and learner evaluations. Manage and enforce record-keeping standards to ensure accuracy and traceability
Monitor training-related corrective actions and document completion
Administer and optimize the learning management system (LMS), ensuring course libraries, learner profiles, training assignments and reports are accurate. The Donation Operations Education and Training Manager helps oversee the LMS, curricula design, competency evaluations, and issuance of any certificates related to training completion
