Responsibilities
Summer Associates will sharpen financial analysis skills, develop an understanding of corporate markets and clients, and gain experience in corporate finance and with investment banking products through on-the-job training
Associates play a meaningful role in supporting internal and external clients
Associates play a meaningful role in new business development, due diligence, and transaction execution
Associates work with senior professionals to identify and evaluate opportunities and then meet with and present to prospective clients
Associates must demonstrate a mastery of financial and accounting concepts to facilitate the creation or review of in-depth financial models involved in transactions
Associates are also charged with drafting internal and external documents and marketing materials utilized in transactions
Associates often take a lead role in executing transactions and working with clients, attorneys, investors, interested parties and other senior professionals on a daily basis
Qualification
Required
MBA from a leading program with a scheduled graduation of December 2026 – May 2027
Minimum of 3 years work experience required
Ability to understand complex financial products and desire for significant transaction execution responsibility
Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
Superior written and oral communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred
Priority will be given to candidates with prior experience in development, financing, or advisory within the power, utilities, or infrastructure sectors
Concentration in Finance
Previous background in financial services and/or experience as an Analyst
