Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Lecturer

The University of Wisconsin-Stout is seeking a Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join their Engineering and Technology Department. The role involves preparing career-ready engineers through hands-on instruction and curriculum development in both classroom and laboratory settings.

Higher Education

Responsibilities

Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations

Qualification

M.S. degree in EngineeringMechanical Engineering experienceTeaching experienceProject managementStudent engagement

Required

M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field by employment start date
Ability to teach in a combined lecture and lab environment
3 years industry experience in mechanical engineering or related field
Interest in advancing student learning in the area of engineering

Preferred

Project management experience
3 years successful teaching experience or supervision of student workers, e.g. interns
