FACTS, a division of Nelnet, Inc., provides a comprehensive suite of technology products and education services to K-12 schools. They are seeking a Title I Teacher to plan and implement instructional programs that support student academic potential.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in an elementary or secondary learning environment that is safe, guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential
Complete a minimum of five (5) hours of paid pre-service training prior to the start of instructional intervention services

Qualification

State of California Teaching CertificateBachelor of Art/Science3 years classroom experienceEnglish Language LearnersPassion for educationFederal programsData monitoringEvaluationTechnically savvySet prioritiesCollaborative team work

Required

A State of California Teaching Certificate is required to be considered for this role
Bachelor of Art/Science required (preferably in Education)
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a classroom setting or comparable experience
Passion for education, focusing on the success and achievements of students, parents and fellow educators
Basic knowledge and understanding of federal programs, policies and procedures
Exemplary skills monitoring, tracking and evaluating data to assess program effectiveness
Technically savvy
Demonstrated ability to set priorities and achieve results
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preferred

Master's Degree preferred
Experience working with English Language Learners preferred
