Responsibilities

Research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy and improve cutting edge products and services

Conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle from analog and digital electronic circuit card assemblies to fully integrated systems

Required

Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience

Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices

Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools

Progressive experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams

Basic understanding of digital circuit concepts

Extensive experience with FPGA HDL (Field Programmable Gate Array Hardware Description Language) development, simulation and analysis, utilizing the VHDL language

Average to Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Visio)

The ability to obtain & maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred

Digital Signal Processing Experience

Familiarity with Xilinx/AMD FPGA Devices

Knowledge of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)

Familiarity with VHDL (preferred) or Verilog

Familiarity with Vivado, Quartis, ModelSim/Questa, Aldec, ActiveHDL

Familiarity with bi-directional traceability

Familiarity with software development processes

Familiarity with Verification, Validation, and Quality Assurance

Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry

Progressive experience leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade studies and other measures
