Responsibilities

Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable backend solutions using Node.js (must-have)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, product, QA) to deliver high-quality software solutions
Work on microservices architecture, ensuring efficient communication between services
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
Manage and optimize databases — MongoDB and PostgreSQL
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and delivery
Work with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) for hosting, monitoring, and scaling backend services
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices across the engineering team

Required

6+ years of professional experience in backend development
Expertise in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
Strong understanding of databases — MongoDB (NoSQL) and PostgreSQL (SQL)
Experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred) — EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Solid understanding of API design, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and microservices architecture
Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
Working knowledge of Golang is an added advantage
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Hands-on experience with Golang development
Exposure to DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure management
Experience in performance tuning, monitoring, and observability
