LaserWeld INC is a family owned and operated Heavy Fabrication company located in Katy Texas, producing parts for various industries. The Inspector Quality Control role involves ensuring products meet quality standards through inspections and maintaining records of these inspections.

Responsibilities

Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the products produced

Approve or reject parts/assemblies with respect to quality standards and record results

Select samples of finished parts/assemblies and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, comparing to specifications etc.)

Use CMM systems (Faro arm and Faro laser tracker) and optical inspection system (InspecVision Planar) to perform complex inspection procedures

Maintain records of inspections per quality procedure

Review processes of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with requirements

Monitor customer rejections and establish root cause and corrective action

Aid in the calibration of measuring equipment

Prepare and submit reports as needed to the quality manager
