Responsibilities

Lead the development of high-performance hulls, decks, and structural components for sport fishing boats
Create 3D CAD models and support tooling and lamination planning
Collaborate with production to bring designs to life
Focus on hull and deck geometry, performance prediction, structural integrity, fit-and-finish, and ergonomics
Define mechanical and propulsion system layouts within designs, ensuring manufacturability

Required

Mechanical Design Engineer experience
Experience in developing high-performance hulls, decks, and structural components for boats
Hands-on engineering role experience
Experience in creating 3D CAD models

Understanding of hull and deck geometry
Knowledge of performance prediction and structural integrity
Experience in fit-and-finish and ergonomics
Ability to define mechanical and propulsion system layouts
Understanding of fiberglass and composite construction methods
Passion for boat performance and ride quality
Strong communication skills to work cross-functionally across engineering, tooling, production, and quality
