Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of our Obstetrics & Gynecology Ultrasound unit – with coverage extending to multiple locations throughout Brooklyn and inspire excellence within a tight-knit, team environment

Train, manage, and evaluate staff while providing mentoring as needed and assist with AIUM accreditation application as needed

Work with GE ultrasound equipment while regularly assessing service line operations and recommending ways to improve patient care and efficiency

Required

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) required

BCLS required

High School Diploma/GED

American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS in OB/GYN)

Significant previous OBGYN sonography experience in a hospital setting

5 years experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

Preferred

Previous supervisory experience

Bachelor's Degree
