g2i is seeking a Java Tech Quality Assurance Lead to ensure consistently high standards across their AI data training projects. This role requires a blend of hands-on Java expertise with quality assurance and technical evaluation, while also guiding trainers and QAs to maintain high-quality Java content.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular code quality reviews of Java solutions, assessing correctness, clarity, structure, code style, and maintainability. Provide constructive feedback and escalate critical issues when needed
Perform technical evaluations focused on algorithmic soundness, performance considerations, best practices, and alignment with project guidelines
Maintain clear communication with trainers and QAs via Discord—sharing updates, clarifying expectations, answering questions, and ensuring a smooth workflow
Monitor contributor activity and manage activation outreach, helping identify blockers and encouraging re-engagement
Create and maintain documentation, including coding guidelines, checklists, example solutions, trackers, FAQs, and related resources
Lead onboarding and training sessions for new trainers and QAs, covering Java quality standards, common issues, and review expectations

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
7+ years of professional Java experience with strong expertise in code quality, debugging, design approaches, and maintainability
C1-level English proficiency for documentation and async communication
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate different approaches and identify root causes
High attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work independently

Preferred

Previous experience with LLM training, AI data annotation, or QA roles
