Responsibilities
Demonstrates knowledge of installation methods, including but not limited to installation of exterior specialty metal, glass panel systems, ACM & IMP panels, Single Skin & Cement Panels, Louvers and screen wall systems
Assist superintendents while onsite with day-to-day activities when needed
Communicate with GC quality control person and attend QC meetings when required
Understanding of manufactures installation requirements
Understanding of job specifications and divisions
Ensure all materials are securely anchored, fastened and aligned, ensuring water-tight and structurally sound installations
Communicate with the field installation team and report any observed discrepancies, changes and problems immediately
Strictly follow all safety and quality regulations and always wear appropriate PPE
Check all installations for Square, Level and Plumb conditions
Create/fill required daily or weekly QA/QC forms
Qualification
Required
4-7 years of construction experience, including supervisory or superintendent roles in commercial glazing or a related field
In depth knowledge of commercial glazing and panel installation practices, equipment, and tools
Strong understanding of construction documents, reports, project scheduling, and job costing
Familiarity with applicable building codes, safety regulation, and quality control standards, and various other electronic devices
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Complete understanding of Company Safety Health and Management Program
Preferred
OSHA 30 Construction Industry certification preferred
