The role involves conducting site inspections, collecting field data, and assisting with storm damage assessments to help plan repairs and upgrades.

Responsibilities

Inspect overhead (OH) and underground (UG) electric power distribution assets

Collect and enter field data using a tablet

Prepare minor work orders and maintenance reports

Assist with storm damage assessments on utility infrastructure

Communicate clearly with internal teams, clients, and agencies

Ride along with a dedicated mentor who will provide training and ongoing guidance

Work primarily outdoors and drive a company vehicle to various local sites

Qualification

AutoCADGIS mapping softwareMicrosoft OfficeTechnical experienceProfessional communication

Required

High school diploma, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation

Available to work Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM with occasional overtime

Comfortable working outside in various conditions and driving a company vehicle

Professional communication skills and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Preferred

Prior technical experience, training, or coursework is a plus

Interest in learning AutoCAD, GIS mapping software, and utility design tools
