Responsibilities
Achieving departmental sales targets
Providing administrative support to the Sales and Marketing team
Ensuring high levels of satisfaction for both guests and owners
Overseeing groups on property, maintaining that all expectations are met and exceeded
Assisting in processing reports, contracts, proposals and Request for Proposal’s under guidance from Sales team
Inputting data to the contact management database
Maintaining records on behalf of the Sales and Marketing department
Updating key sales reports and manuals for the Director
Participating in sales calls with members of the Oetker sales team
Responding to general telephone inquiries/ email on behalf of Sales team
Conducting daily sales calls and arranging site inspection trips to hotels by corporate clients
Providing quick and timely responses to advisors and clients
Working closely with the Revenue & Reservations Manager
Developing relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base
Acquiring and developing new business accounts and preparing sales proposals
Attending Sales team meetings, participating, recording, preparing and distributing meeting notes
Executing site inspections, client entertainment and familiarization trips
Qualification
Required
Strong communications (telephone and in person)
Strong writing and oral presentation skills
Requires knowledge of and ability to operate computer equipment
2 years minimum in a similar role, Luxury brand preferred
Basic knowledge of hotel operations
Must already be legally permitted to work in the United States
