Samsung Austin Semiconductor is a leader in advanced semiconductor technology, seeking a PCS Operations Technician to join their team. In this role, you will maintain and troubleshoot equipment in UV wafer manufacturing, ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety protocols while collaborating with Engineers and Production teams.

Responsibilities

Execute PM & CPM routines per SOPs

Identify and implement improvement projects to shorten MTBF & increase uptime

Select and approve replacement parts, submit vendor invoices

Conduct failure analysis using scripting and data tools

Anticipate potential failures and propose pre‑emptive solutions

Document findings in maintenance & quality systems

Monitor equipment/process performance, flag deviations, and propose inline adjustments

Use sophisticated analytics to evaluate operating data for continuous improvement

Work with Engineering and Production to support system set‑up and calibration

Serve as liaison between Engineering and Operations on maintenance scheduling

Identify new assignments or projects that align with departmental priorities

Participate on cross‑functional teams and contribute to high‑impact initiatives beyond routine maintenance

Follow all SAS FAB clean‑room protocols and PPE requirements

Handle hazardous chemicals and equipment per EHS guidelines
