Information Systems Security Engineers (Multiple Levels)
Noblis is a company dedicated to supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command and the Naval Surface Warfare Center. They are seeking Information Systems Security Engineers to provide engineering, technical, logistics, and obsolescence support to U.S. Navy ships and vessels, focusing on cybersecurity and secure systems implementation.

Responsibilities
Perform analysis and evaluation to design, implement, test and field secure systems, networks, and architectures
Install and configure secure hardware and software systems and maintain technological infrastructure
Conduct regular security audits and ensure systems are up-to-date with security patches
Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot security or other related issues
Manage user accounts and access to systems
Perform data backups and disaster recovery procedures
Assess and strengthen system compliance against NIST, DoD, and Navy security requirements
Develop and implement information systems security policies throughout the acquisition and IS lifecycle
Conduct certification and testing in accordance with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Support the Government to resolve conflicting system security engineering requirements
Develop program technical publications including Systems Engineering Plans, Security Concepts of Operations, and Cybersecurity Strategy
Coordinate with system SMEs to identify and develop authorization boundary diagrams and architecture diagrams
Maintain awareness of evolving security and risk management standards
Participate in A&A status meetings and working groups addressing cybersecurity/RMF policies
Manage POA&M entries and ensure vulnerabilities are properly tracked and mitigated
Update eMass Artifacts including Lab Portfolio, Testing Evidence, and Vulnerability POA&M
Execute USN Cybersecurity Pre-Installation Checkout (PICO) Procedure on Ashore and Afloat Systems
Qualification
Required
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree OR High school diploma
Minimum Experience: 2 - 5+ Years of practical experience in a Cybersecurity, Engineering, T&E or A&A (formerly C&A) related field
Have worked with Information Assurance tools such as DISA Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and may be required to hold an Interim Security Control Assessor qualification
Active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship
Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Cyber Security related degree
1+ years of professional experience in cyber security engineering
Active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship
Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Cyber Security related degree
5+ years of professional experience in cyber security engineering
3+ years of professional experience with vulnerability analysis tools
Active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship
Minimum Education: Bachelor Degree from an accredited University or relevant military veteran experience equivalents
Minimum Experience: Validated 3-5+ years specialized entry level experience in Systems Development (specialty focus on software/systems design and implementation) or Vulnerability Assessment and Management (specialty focus on security testing and analysis)
Senior Level personnel must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance
Active Secret Clearance, US citizenship
One of the following certificates: Security+CE
OS certification within 90 days of hire (MD-102 or AZ-104)
Preferred
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Cyber Security related degree
Security+CE
CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP
Experience with a wide range of modern computing platforms and technologies
Experience with modern networks, operating systems, databases, and virtual computing
Experience with testing methods, automated tools, plans, and procedures for verification of compliance
Experience with vulnerability assessment tools including ACAS and HBSS
Ability to develop and interpret security architectures and data flow diagrams
Ability to identify risk areas of non-compliance and propose solutions
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to multi-task and deliver on-time with the highest quality
Experience with tracking, mitigating, and resolving vulnerabilities
Experience installing software, firmware, and security patches
Knowledge of industrial control systems
Familiarity with Linux, Windows, and VxWorks OS
Must have a valid US passport or ability to obtain one upon position acceptance
Ability to travel at least 10% of the time
