Responsibilities

Define Requirements: Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to define system requirements and specifications, ensuring alignment and clarity
Lead Integration: Oversee the seamless integration of hardware and software components within fleet vehicle systems
Coordinate Teams and Knowledge Transfer: Organize and coordinate technicians’ daily activities while fostering effective knowledge transfer essential for industrialization
Manage Hardware Lifecycle: Oversee verification, validation, and re-certification of end-of-life hardware, and support warranty claims processing
Conduct Diagnostics: Lead troubleshooting activities and diagnostic testing, applying strong analytical skills to resolve complex mechanical issues
Develop Global Standards: Create global standard installation manuals for wiring harnesses and electronic modules, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Ensure Documentation Quality: Manage documentation and communication of test results and detailed reports, maintaining accuracy and information integrity
Drive Continuous Improvement: Apply a continuous improvement mindset and provide constructive feedback to cross-functional teams
Promote Safety and Skills Development: Ensure adherence to OSHA safety standards, support a safe work environment, and provide technical support and training to team members as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in automotive technology, mechanical or electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
5–8 years of experience working closely with fleets, supporting field activities, and working with vehicle telematics, diagnostics, and hardware installations
Collaborative approach to project leadership
Strong understanding of automotive standards & processes
Clear & empathetic communication skills
Self-motivated and thoughtful in work
Flexibility to travel 20–30% when needed

Preferred

Master's degree in automotive technology, mechanical or electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
Experience guiding and coordinating projects with care and attention to detail
Experience working closely with fleets, supporting field activities, and working with vehicle telematics, diagnostics, and hardware installations
Comfort working across diverse teams
Strong understanding of automotive standards & processes
Clear & empathetic communication skills
A proactive, supportive mindset
