They are seeking a qualified Design Project Manager to serve as the primary client contact and manage project-related design activities to ensure successful completion within project schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

Prepare, negotiate and finalize contracts for architectural/engineering services or design/build services

Deliver strategic and creative project solutions

Develop, implement and oversee a project plan for the completion of the scope of work

Communicate understanding of scope including complex technical items to client, contractors and design team in effective ways for them to understand

Develop and assure design schedules are maintained

Forecast anticipated staffing resource requirements

Support and coordinate interface between the design/build team

Manage and control project financials to ensure project profitability. Enter and maintain financial information in the PM System

Oversee project invoicing and fee collection

Maintain and enhance client relationships

Required

Experience working on complex industrial projects

5-20 years of experience as a Project Manager leading multi-disciplinary design teams

Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or construction Management

Knowledge of basic accounting, budgeting, and cost allocation procedures

Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus

Design / Build experience preferred

Food processing project experience preferred
