Data Quality Manager

Responsibilities
Demonstrate mastery of enterprise data processes and systems design for moderate to difficult applications, batch, streaming, on-line and event-driven initiatives
Automate data quality processes to scale the prevention, detection, and remediation of data quality issues
Develop a deep understanding of business goals and processes to inform product priorities and governance of quality within data products
Manage and develop a strong, dynamic team of IT professionals (data engineers, architects, and analysts) by setting proper direction and goals, performing thoughtful evaluations, encouraging technical and professional growth and cross training
Recruit, develop, and manage employees within related area of responsibility. Delegate daily tasks for all protocol(s) to Data Quality staff
Align the Data Quality team with analytic and product teams across the company
Understand and prioritize deliverables and milestones based on impact and urgency. Automate and improve processes associated with source data (i.e., clinical, case management, etc.) integrations to GCP and other products within the Data Governance technology stack
Responsible for supporting product teams in the adoption of cloud development through data management and data quality engineering
Familiar with the concepts within, and technical application of, regulatory and compliance terms related to financial data
Prepare analyses/reports based on audit results, including recommendations for corrective action; maintain records of audits and follow-up of corrective actions
Experience preparing technical specifications, detailed requirements and developing test cases
Proven experience leading a team of internal and external resources both onsite and in remote locations
Communicate with third party vendors to clarify requirements, address issues, proactively identifying and removing blockers hindering advancement of product delivery/support
Partner with the Data Governance Enablement and Operations team to define, document, and conduct data governance awareness training programs
Lead teams on the implementation of enterprise data processes related to Data Quality, RDM, and governance on Google’s Cloud Platform (GCP)
Consult on deep dives into extremely complex issues, their root causes, and solutions. Ensure timely proactive issue identification, escalation, and resolution
Establish a strong inclusive culture, encouraging innovation, inclusion, teamwork, and diversity
Proactively evaluate and champion/influence change across delivery teams to mitigate risks to quality and the cloud ecosystem and provide multiple viable options for mitigation of such risks
Expert knowledge of ticketing systems for support (i.e., Jira, Azure DevOps, Service Central) and master data management technologies (i.e., Ataccama, EMPI-Initiate)
Provide consultation to the business on how to obtain value from data. Guide the business on where the most accurate data resides within the HCA ecosystem to support various business needs and processes
Strong understanding of data integration, source target mapping, and business rules transformation in a heterogeneous systems environment
Experience with database management systems: Teradata Vantage (Cloud), DB2, and Google Cloud Platform
A deep understanding of data lifecycle (database design, data profiling, data quality, master data management, data warehouses/marts/staging/ODS)

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree Information Systems, Business Administration, or Similar — required
5+ years of experience in information technology design and development — required
3+ years of experience in leading a team of direct reports — required
