InternAtlantic Health is seeking a Transformation & Consumer Insights Intern to support the Patient Experience team in enhancing care experiences across various settings. The intern will engage in data-driven initiatives and process improvement efforts, leveraging feedback and metrics to inform system-level enhancements.

Responsibilities
Learn patient experience metrics and core drivers
Support current-state validation, friction analysis, and improvement meetings
Capture notes and track action items for cross-functional initiatives
Map workflows and assists in process documentation to identify improvement opportunities
Contribute to systemwide improvement projects using Lean methodology and PDSSA cycles
Collect, synthesize, and translate patient feedback from surveys, comments, grievances, and web revies
Ensure accurate and comprehensive capture and categorization of the patient voice
Analyze trends and generate actionable insights to guide improvements and inform leadership
Support creation of dashboards, slides, and reports for leadership and stakeholder communication
Attend Patient Experience huddles and manage follow-up action items
Maintain shared folders, reference libraries, and documentation to support team workflow
Assist with major system initiatives and support Senior Leadership Team deliverables
Qualification
Required
Technical business acumen in process improvement
Understanding of healthcare operations, culture, and patient-centered care
Ability to contribute to data-driven initiatives
Experience with metrics, feedback, and actionable insights
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies
Knowledge of Lean methodology and PDSA cycles
Ability to learn patient experience metrics and core drivers
Skills in supporting current-state validation and friction analysis
Ability to capture notes and track action items for cross-functional initiatives
Skills in mapping workflows and process documentation
Experience in collecting, synthesizing, and translating patient feedback
Ability to ensure accurate and comprehensive capture and categorization of the patient voice
Skills in analyzing trends and generating actionable insights
Ability to support creation of dashboards, slides, and reports
Skills in attending meetings and managing follow-up action items
