Responsibilities

Serve as the university’s Title IX Coordinator, collaborating with the two Deputy Coordinators. Ensure university compliance with federal guidelines. Uphold the integrity and timeline of the investigation process as well as maintain records of reports and outcomes. Maintain updated contacts for appropriate community resources as well as university provided resources
Maintain accurate records of reports, investigations, and outcomes in accordance with federal recordkeeping requirements
Evaluate, review, and update the policy annually and ensure proper communication of the policy to campus stakeholders
Oversee training and ongoing education surrounding the Title IX policy for both students and employees
Facilitate training for investigators, advisors, hearing panel members, and decision-makers
Maintain and enforce the student behavioral code of conduct while developing new policies as needed. Assure proper dissemination of university policies and guidelines to students and campus stakeholders
Serve as the primary student conduct officer, managing the case load, conducting investigations and fact-finding, meetings, and outcome communication
Utilize and serve as the lead administrator for the Maxient Conduct Management software for all case management intake processes
Train, coordinate, and collaborate with other administrators assisting with conduct management in other areas such as residential policies and students enrolled online
Collaborate with Residence Life, Athletics, Academic Affairs, and other relevant offices to support and communicate conduct investigations, findings, and decisions
Work in partnership with Campus Safety, Student Affairs, and Institutional Research to support compliance with the Clery Act and the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)
Assist with annual security reporting, education/prevention programming, and coordinated response efforts
Help ensure accurate classification and reporting of Clery-designated incidents
Oversee and/or coordinate educational programming for Title IX, and substance abuse (alcohol and drugs)
Collaborate on awareness efforts that promote a culture of respect, consent, and inclusion
Create accessible materials and resources for students, faculty, and staff
Serve on the BIT/CARE team
Engage, collaborate and communicate with all appropriate campus entities
Attend division, department, committee, and other meetings associated with the position
Provide role-model leadership to faculty, staff, and students
Perform other duties as assigned by the SVP in support of the institution

Required

Master's degree required
Excellent organizational, time management, and collaboration skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Possess and display professional interpersonal and human relations skills
Ability to effectively manage conflicts, stress, and related issues involving students, faculty and administrators
Minimum of five years successful experience in related field
Minimum of two years of experience in Title IX administration in a higher education or similar setting
Computer Skills: Word Intermediate, Excel Intermediate, Outlook Advanced

Preferred

Experience designing and delivering training to diverse campus audiences
Certification in Title IX coordination or investigations (e.g., ATIXA, NACUA)
Experience utilizing Maxient software for reporting and case management
Maxient Advanced preferred
