Videographer – Lion Health Lab (Part-Time, Remote)
Penn State University is seeking a creative and self-motivated Videographer to support digital media production for research communication, recruitment, and outreach. The role involves recording, editing, and producing video content that highlights lab projects and community programs, while collaborating with the lab team to ensure brand alignment.

Responsibilities
Record, edit, and produce short- and long-form video content highlighting lab projects, community programs, and research findings
Create promotional materials for the lab’s website, YouTube, and social media platforms (e.g., Instagram Reels, highlight videos)
Collaborate with the Principal Investigator and lab team to plan, storyboard, and ensure brand alignment with Penn State and Lion Health Lab standards
Edit and organize media files, ensuring accessibility and consistency across communication channels
Maintain a professional, creative approach to storytelling that aligns with the university’s mission and standards for research communication
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience in video production, editing, and post-production
Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent
Strong visual storytelling and creative direction skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
Reliable access to video-editing software, high-speed internet, and appropriate computer hardware
Preferred
Experience producing social media content (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
Familiarity with topics related to health, fitness, or community-based programs
Skills in photography, motion graphics, or digital design
