Responsibilities
Design Roadway, Underground Utility, and Infrastructure improvements using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other applicable design software
Conduct drainage, traffic, and various engineering studies
Complete general civil engineering services for municipal, county and state clients
Complete engineering plans and specifications using WisDOT Standards
Process Federal Aid projects for a variety of clients
Assist with construction engineering services for municipal, county and state clients
Assist project engineers and managers with a wide variety of tasks required for project delivery
Qualification
Required
B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
Relevant internship/co-op experience with municipal or highway agency transportation projects
Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodman's service area (own transportation)
Ability to independently handle a variety of ongoing tasks and responsibilities
Strong written, verbal, computer, and organizational skills
Work within a team-first culture that encourages individual development and accomplishment of goals
Preferred
Anticipated F.E. (Fundamentals of Engineering) certification
Knowledge of designing roadway and underground improvements with Civil3D or Bentley OpenRoads Designer
Experience with Geopak
