Responsibilities

Designs, deploys, and manages AWS EKS clusters, ensuring high availability and scalability

Works with AWS ECS (Fargate) to implement serverless container orchestration

Sets up, configures, and maintains message brokers (Amazon MQ, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ) for distributed applications

Manages and optimizes Amazon RDS for SQL databases, including performance tuning and high availability

Implements and fine-tunes Amazon Redshift for data warehousing, providing high-performance analytics

Develops and maintains infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK

Designs and configures tooling like CloudWatch and Datadog to maintain the health, performance, and security of AWS environments

Collaborates with internal stakeholders and platform engineering teams to understand specific business needs and recommend appropriate AWS services

Leverages the AWS Well-Architected Framework to ensure operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization, and sustainability of AWS environments
