Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy high-quality applications using Java, Angular, object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, and modern design patterns such as MVP
Build and maintain microservices that are scalable, secure, and optimized for cloud-native environments
Create efficient RESTful APIs, reusable UI components, and maintain clean, well-structured code
Perform code reviews, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and optimize performance across the tech stack
Provide architectural guidance on application structure, service decomposition, and design best practices
Ensure alignment with enterprise standards around security, scalability, maintainability, and observability
Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other engineers to convert business requirements into technical solutions
Lead and implement DevOps practices including containerization, Orchestration, and deployment automation
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and automated testing frameworks
Deploy and manage services on Kubernetes and RKE (Rancher Kubernetes Engine) clusters
Drive continuous improvement in release processes, monitoring, and platform reliability
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, promoting best practices across the engineering team
Work cross-functionally with QA, Security, Cloud Ops, and product teams to ensure seamless delivery
Support agile ceremonies, lead technical discussions, and contribute to sprint planning and refinement
Qualification
Required
6-8+ years of experience in full stack Java development and software engineering
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and related frameworks
Hands-on experience building and maintaining microservices architecture
Strong foundations in OOP, design patterns, and application architecture principles
Experience implementing the MVP pattern or similar UI architectural patterns
Experience creating, managing, and optimizing GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
Familiar with DevOps tools such as Helm, ArgoCD, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar
Strong understanding of secure coding practices and performance optimization
Preferred
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Exposure to API gateways, service mesh, and distributed tracing
