Principal Test Systems Execution Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

Communicate regularly with the program Integrated Product Team Leader (IPTL)
Responsible for the Technical Execution of the program
Work directly with the Program Manager/IPTL to establish and complete program milestones
Lead a multi-disciplinary team in an engineering environment
Develop and participate in presentations for gate reviews
Attend Failure Review Boards (FRBs) when required
Attend Change Control Boards (CCBs) and approve system changes
Report status metrics for your team to stakeholders
Define program requirements in a multi-disciplinary team
As the lead, you will be expected to provide training, as needed, understand the scope, cost and schedule of the Program and define/delegate tasking for your team
Travel up to 20% to support development and/or delivery of our test environment equipment

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years' prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree and 5 years of experience
Experience with the functionalities of Test Systems Engineering or equivalent Engineering experience for both hardware and test software development, integration, verification, validation, and maintenance activities within production, manufacturing, product qualification environments
Experience with design, development and/or integration of test equipment
Active and transferrable US government issued Secret security clearance (not interim) is required prior to start date. US citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Strong organization, coordination, planning, teaming skills, as well as written and oral communication skills
Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems
Knowledge of or experience with equipment rack assembly, cable assembly/installation, electronics maintenance, data acquisition systems, oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzers
Experience troubleshooting systems using test equipment such as data acquisition systems, oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzers
Experience leading multi-disciplined teams
Experience with Agile Process and gate reviews
Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Agile Methodologies understanding
