Director, Learning Business Partner

Responsibilities

Acts as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, aligning learning strategies with business goals and talent priorities
Builds deep relationships with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to proactively address talent gaps and future needs
Embeds within client groups to anticipate business challenges and recommend targeted learning solutions
Champions learning initiatives at the executive level to gain alignment and sponsorship
Partners with leadership to integrate learning into organizational strategy and culture
Finds and adopts technology solutions that automate and drives learning retention
Develops and oversees an enterprise-wide learning strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and future workforce needs
Conducts comprehensive needs analyses to identify skill gaps, development priorities, and opportunities for growth
Designs and implements scalable learning programs, leveraging innovative technologies and blended learning approaches
Creates annual learning business plans for key client groups, ensuring accountability for execution and outcomes
Leads the development of role-specific learning journeys to support key talent segments
Designs and implements learning solutions that support organizational transformation and strategic initiatives
Provides expert guidance on change management strategies, ensuring smooth transitions during organizational restructuring, process changes, or new initiatives
Partners with HR and business leaders to design and implement organizational structures that enhance performance and agility
Embeds change management principles into learning programs to ensure adoption and long-term impact
Leads efforts to build organizational readiness for change by aligning leadership development with transformation goals
Oversees the delivery of enterprise learning programs, ensuring high-quality, engaging, and impactful experiences
Implements technology solutions to enhance learning accessibility, retention, and scalability
Partners with leaders to build coaching capabilities and drive team development
Allocates resources effectively to prioritize and manage learning initiatives across multiple business units
Spends 45% of time providing coaching and training facilitation with client group’s target audience alongside leaders
Defines and tracks success metrics for learning programs, using data-driven insights to measure effectiveness and business impact
Develops and implements evaluation frameworks to assess the ROI of learning initiatives
Continuously refines learning strategies based on analyzing trends, feedback, performance data, and evolving business needs
Produces executive-level reports showcasing the impact of learning interventions on business outcomes
Leads and develops the Enterprise Learning Team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Provides mentorship and professional development opportunities to build team capabilities and future leadership talent
Stays ahead of industry trends, integrating emerging learning technologies and methodologies into the organization
Champions a forward-thinking, agile approach to learning and development that anticipates future workforce needs
Drives innovation in learning design, delivery, and measurement, ensuring the organization remains competitive in attracting and developing top talent
Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field required
Minimum nine (9) years of experience in Learning & Development (or Value-Based Care field experience), with at least three (3) years in a strategic senior level role
Proven track-record of designing and implementing large-scale, business-focused learning programs
Experience in leadership which includes teaching and mentoring to build better business outcomes
Experience with design thinking and Agile or other modern project management methodologies
Strong leadership ability; seen as a trusted advisor and someone that has demonstrated leadership skills teaching and learning; not just a technical expert but brings technical knowledge to the table to drive better business outcomes
Strong knowledge of instructional design, adult learning principles, and learning technologies
Strong knowledge of value-based care and business strategy to design practical learning programs geared to helping the business achieve its intended outcomes
Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership
Ability to lead diverse groups and manage multiple learning projects simultaneously
Proficient in learning management systems (LMS) and eLearning tools (E.g., PowerPoint, Prezi, GoToMeeting, LiveMeeting, Adobe Connect, RingCentral, Webex, SharePoint)
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Demonstrated EQ and ability to handle adverse situations
Ability to manage stress, navigate challenging situations, and maintain a positive and supportive attitude
Ability to rapidly master new systems and tools and effectively educate others
Ability to mentor, guide, or coach team members and influence without having direct authority
Strong commitment to developing and coaching others
Ardent desire and willingness to provide both consultative/advisory support and hands-on execution
Strong commitment to innovation and continuous improvement
Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationwide up to 30% of the time and may require a mix of on-site and remote work, depending on organizational needs. Must be able to travel frequently to Miami, FL to meet key stakeholders
Spoken and written fluency in English
This job requires the use and exercise of independent judgment

Preferred

Master's degree preferred
Experience in healthcare administration is preferred
Certified Talent Development Professional (CTDP), Certified Professional Learning Performance Professional (CPLP), Coaching Certification or similar certifications are highly desirable
