Responsibilities
Setup, program-edit and run cutting tables
Must be able to learn and operate other prep equipment
Must be able to finish product with grinders, sanders, and hand tools
Perform daily preventive maintenance to assigned equipment to keep in proper working order
Must have the ability to read blueprints and use general measuring equipment to produce quality product to specifications
Safely move material using overhead cranes and forklifts
Clean and maintain the work area
Communicate effectively with coworkers and management
Assist in other manufacturing areas when needed
Attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
The ability to apply knowledge of shop math, machinability or materials and drawings
Download programs via disc, flash drive or direct connect
Perform cuts and required nesting as defined by production
Accurate completion of production and Quality Control sheets
Accurate completion of work order based on production schedule
Ability to read operator’s book and make appropriate parts correctly
Qualification
Required
Operate and set up conventional or numerical control (CNC) machines
Knowledge of shop math, machinability of materials and drawings
