Materials & Welding Process Engineer
Entegee is seeking a Materials & Welding Process Engineer to join their team. The role involves working with friction welding, inertia welding, and metallurgical/process engineering, focusing on weld parameter development and providing customer-facing technical support.
Responsibilities
Friction welding, inertia welding, or solid-state joining that can create a technical writing with manufacturing and academic environment mindsets
Experience with weld parameter development
Metallurgical sample prep & analysis
DOE, DFM, PPAP, FMEA
Customer-facing technical support
Comfortable moving between lab, shop floor, and customer discussion
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Persons and able to work in ITAR Facility
2–5 years in Friction welding, inertia welding, or solid-state joining that can create a technical writing with manufacturing and academic environment mindsets
OR metallurgical/process engineering in heat treat or joining
Experience with Weld parameter development
Experience with Metallurgical sample prep & analysis
Experience with DOE, DFM, PPAP, FMEA
Experience with Customer-facing technical support
Comfortable moving between Lab → shop floor → customer discussion
