Human Resources Business Partner
Bryan Health is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to formulate partnerships that deliver value-added services to leadership and employees. The role involves providing guidance on employee relations, managing recognition programs, and analyzing trends to enhance retention strategies.

Responsibilities
Acts as a resource to leadership on the Bryan Health coaching and corrective action philosophy and process, to resolve complex employee relation issues and address grievances
Carries out employee recognition and retention programs for Kearney Regional Medical Center (KRMC)
Facilitates new employee orientation
Assists with administrative duties for the human resources department
Analyzes and presents trends and metrics to leadership to develop solution-based recommendations for retention, engagement and other department and organizational goals
Ensures policies and procedures related to employee relations are administered effectively and consistently
Ensures that all HR actions related to employee relations are consistent with all state and federal legal requirements
Works to improve communication effectiveness with all departments and employees
Stays up-to-date on Employee Health Service functions including workers’ compensation, FMLA use and short-term disability (STD). Monitors HR processes for improvements in efficiency and consistency for the organization
Identifies and presents training as needed for leaders and/or staff
Keeps senior leadership apprised of employee relations, retention issues or unionization risks
Creates and implements effective onboarding plans to support local employees
Stays up-to-date on changes in the HR profession and communicates those changes to internal customers
Continually develops legal, analytic and business acumen skills to successfully support the organization’s needs
Serves as a key ambassador for Human Resources within the organization, establishing strong relationships with leaders and employees
Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise
Participates in meetings, committees and department projects as assigned
Performs other related projects and duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and a minimum of five (5) years experience in Human Resources with an emphasis in employee relations required
Knowledge of computer hardware equipment and software applications relevant to work functions
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to perform crucial conversations with desired outcomes
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of personnel and medical staff
Ability to problem solve and engage independent critical thinking skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality relevant to sensitive information
Ability to prioritize work demands and work with minimal supervision
Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance
Eight (8) years of related experience in HR leadership or business partner role may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
