Responsibilities

Program Planning, Guidance and Execution – Work with program management and technical teams to develop the program execution schedule, effectively communicate with the entire program team, and monitor progress and guide the team through the execution of all required tasking

Bid & Proposal Support – Coordinate the Engineering proposal content by identifying Engineering scope, partnering with functional leaders on Basis of Estimates, and reviewing the bid with the Engineering Leadership team

Customer and Senior Leadership Interaction and Communication – Effectively communicate with external customers and internal senior leadership on program plans, status, and issues

Required

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant engineering experience

Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience

In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience in Project Engineering

Experience leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, including cost and schedule generation and management

Preferred

Experience in Aerospace and Defense industry

Experience with government customers

Experience with bids and proposals

Experience with Earned Value Management System

Ability to collaborate effectively with other leadership functions across the organization including Operations, Quality, Program Management, and Business Development

Outstanding communication (both verbal and written), collaboration, time management, presentation, and organizational skills

CAM experience

Leading New Product Introduction Engineering Gate Reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR)
