Prepare detailed cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects including roads, bridges, and utilities

Analyze project plans and specifications to develop accurate project costs

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary project information

Utilize estimating software, particularly HCSS, to create and maintain estimates

Review and validate bids from subcontractors and suppliers

Conduct risk assessments to identify potential project challenges and advise on mitigation strategies

Assist in the development of project budgets and schedules

Provide support during the bidding process, including presentations to clients
