Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of heavy civil construction projects
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction crews
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Monitor project progress and schedule, making adjustments as necessary
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
Maintain communication with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and regulatory bodies
Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules
Oversee the use and maintenance of heavy equipment on site
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Superintendent in heavy civil construction
Strong knowledge of earthwork and construction processes
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred but not required
Experience with excavation and civil construction projects is a plus
