Responsibilities

Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines
Prepares and coordinates the company’s annual operating budget process, ensuring accurate data consolidation and timely completion
Facilitates budget review meetings with plant and department managers to validate assumptions and provide analytical insights
Serves as a financial partner to department and plant leaders, guiding then on budgetary compliance, cost management and forecasting
Conducts production cost variance analyses, investigate significant deviations and recommends corrective actions
Develops, maintains and enhances budget models and analytical tools to improve forecasting accuracy and management reporting
Participates in monthly and annual accounting close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
Manages daily cash distribution activities including wire transfer and ACH payment
Collaborates with Accounts Payable team to resolve payment discrepancies and ensure timely vendor settlement
Monitors daily cash positions, maintains sufficient liquidity and assist in cash forecasting and treasury reporting
Identifies opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance system efficiencies
Supports internal and external audit requirements through document preparation and responding to audit inquiries
Recommends improvements to internal controls, financial policies and accounting systems

Required

Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc
Minimum 4 Year – Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
Minimum 4 Years of Experience in progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or multi-site environment
Experience with ERP or accounting systems
Advance knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to analyze and interpret financial/statistical data to provide actionable insight
Ability to use a personal computer (PC) and accounting software
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy
Proficient in effective written English, verbal communication, and listening skills
Ability to maintain confidential information with discretion
Ability to maintain records and prepare reports

Preferred

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred
