Sr. Quality Analyst

Responsibilities

Lead quality improvement activities utilizing quality tools (FMEA, C&E Diagrams, Pareto, SIPOC modeling, etc.) and quantitative analysis to achieve improvements in process capabilities, scrap/rework, customer complaints and to improve the QMS
Support 18-84 operations by trouble shooting quality and inspection problems on the operational floor, developing tactics to correct the root cause of problems, and leading the implementation of the solutions
Conduct PPAP's,/ISIR's, GR&R's and capability studies as required
Investigate failures and help determine root cause and corrective actions as needed
Function as a liaison with engineering by making product dispositions, handling deviation requests, and interpreting engineering and corporate standards as required
Interact with other areas of the company (engineering, sales, research, etc.) and customers to address quality issues
Accomplishes objectives and delivers planned results
Able to get results when unplanned needs or problems occur
Diligently works toward fulfilling internal customer needs while maintaining process flow and effectively managing costs
Ability to think critically and make good, sound decisions
Takes a proactive approach in anticipating, identifying and solving problems; and makes necessary changes so problems do not occur in the future
Able to handle multiple competing tasks and priorities and perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision
Experience in scheduling employees in a production environment
Able to work required hours, which may include weekends and holidays
Manual dexterity to handle tools and the ability to move 30 pounds; standing, walking, bending, climbing, and stretching are required for extended periods during the day
Vision must be sufficient to perform job functions safely

Required

Associate's Degree in Business Management/Technical (Required); Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Supervision (Quality Role)
