The Trader in Trading Origination will ensure accurate pricing and respond to issues, while also identifying opportunities and optimizing trading models to enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities
Help with day-to-day trading operations, ensuring markets are competitive, accurate, and aligned with commercial goals
Ensure the models and data feeds are working as expected, and if not, work with the necessary teams to ensure service is restored in a timely manner
React as required to any item that requires a change to a game state (e.g. injury news)
Collaborate with others to enhance pricing models and improve the trading tools that we use
Undertake data-related projects as required in order to gain insight on changes to betting trends
Ensure regulatory requirements and responsible gambling standards are met across all trading activity
Participate in in-person sessions with the team as required for collaboration, training, and planning purposes
Take an active role in competitor analysis to ensure our product is constantly improving
Qualification
Required
A strong passion for and outstanding knowledge of US team sports
A good understanding of probability and betting odds, ideally with industry experience in a Trading department
A solid ability to focus on accuracy, competitiveness, and long-term profitability
Analytical and data-fluent, with the ability to understand, validate, and explain pricing model outputs
Highly motivated and dependable
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Comfortable with working weekends and evenings to meet the requirements of the business and the sporting calendar
Willingness to travel for in-person sessions with the team
