Responsibilities
Assists in gathering and organizing financial and operational data from prospects and clients, including payroll, benefits, and general ledger information
Supports the development of financial models and projections by preparing data inputs and performing basic calculations
Reviews and summarizes financial statements and other documents to identify key data points for analysis
Helps compile and format data for use in employment cost analyses and internal reporting
Participates in internal cost analysis projects by supporting data collection and assisting with basic financial evaluations
Maintains a working knowledge of Insperity’s product offerings and industry trends to support analysis efforts
Collaborates with internal departments such as Sales, Pricing & Review, Client Services, and Finance to ensure data accuracy and completeness
Provides administrative and analytical support for various financial projects as assigned
Assists in the accomplishment of Insperity goals
Supports team members in achieving shared objectives
Performs other duties as may be assigned by department supervisor
Participates in the Disaster Recovery plan as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance is required
Three or more years of experience and thorough understanding of financial accounting, reporting and analysis practices is required
Strong foundational understanding of financial statements and accounting principles. Ability to understand data and be able to answer questions during a presentation or evaluation
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Strong business acumen, communication, interpersonal skills and data analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with guidance
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
Analytical and decision-making skills to answer business questions utilizing data and other analytical information
Comfortable interfacing with and presenting to C-level positions at prospects and clients while representing our organization
Preferred
Experience in PEO or Human Resources is preferred
