BUSINESS - Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

Researching industry trends, competitor activities, and new market opportunities to identify potential clients and areas for expansion
Identifying services that could be developed and offered by Laake GmbH to increase the market share and profitability of the company
Prospecting and contacting potential new clients / business partners through phone, email, and networking events to gauge interest and secure meetings
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with potential and existing clients, partners, and stakeholders – maximising opportunities for referrals
Forming strategic business alliances
Attending networking events, trade shows, and other virtual and in-person events
Negotiating business terms and closing deals with new and existing clients
Creating and implementing business development strategies to meet long-term growth goals
Working with internal teams, such as marketing, sales, and management, to align business development efforts with overall company objectives, preparing presentations, sales pitches, and customized proposals to present to clients

Required

Some High School education
Clear, persuasive, and active communication skills for a successful interaction with clients and colleagues
The ability to negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts for closing deals and building partnerships
Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders
Market research, competitor analysis, and the ability to analyze data to identify new opportunities and make informed decisions
Ability to adapt to new markets and situations
Developing and implementing strategies that align with company goals
Building a professional network is a key
Effectively prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet goals and deadlines
Proficiency in sales techniques, lead generation, and closing deals for driving revenue
The ability to present ideas and proposals effectively to various audiences
