Responsibilities

Prepare simple engineering and construction drawings from sketches or verbal instructions utilizing manual or CADD techniques

Prepares drawings from markups, charts and tables

Performs related fundamental engineering such as updating lists, preparing deliverables, distributing drawings, making simple calculations, proofreading reports, etc

May utilize information from vendor prints, catalogs, technical manuals, etc

Support other Disciplines as required

Qualification

CADD software3D design softwareDrafting proceduresMathematical skillsCommunication skills

Required

High school diploma (or equivalent)

Minimum 1-year vocational-technical training in drafting and design

Working knowledge of fundamental CADD and 3D software

Working knowledge of drafting procedures and 3D design software

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume

Ability to apply concepts such as basic algebra and geometry

Normal hearing, the ability to stand, walk, reach, climb and balance, clear close and distance vision, depth perception and the ability to focus

Lifting up to 25 pounds may be required
