Responsibilities
Liaising with the software engineering team for the project life cycle
Developing and assigning work schedules/tasks via Jira system
Coordinating and discussing with the software development team in addressing technical issue
Aid and provide technical feedback when planning and executing projects with the Software Engineers
Need to be able to provide technical direction
Perform Code Reviews
Create and modify Technical Functional/Design documentation
Training software engineers to improve coding and design concepts
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure deadlines are met
Create milestone and assign tasks via Jira for the Software Engineers
Demonstrates behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or any related field
5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or similar role with Software Development
3+ years of interacting SQL Queries with Oracle, Microsoft SQL, and/or PostgreSQL Database(s)
3+ years of interacting with Gitlab or GitHub source code management system to perform code review
Excellent knowledge of programming languages like Python
Knowledge of Jira ticketing
Experience with Agile, Scrum
Working experience with LINUX/UNIX environment and shell scripts
Strong analytical and debugging skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skill with the ability to handle multiple projects and work-streams simultaneously
Strong Leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent mathematical and analytical acumen
Demonstrated problem resolution abilities
Able to multi-task in demanding and fast-paced business environment
Attention to detail with high level accuracy
Able to disseminate technical requirements
Able to translate business requirements to appropriate technical schematic
Preferred
A certification in Project Management Professional is desirable
Financial Industry / Fintech experience, a plus
