Responsibilities
Perform a variety of on-site quality control tests, inspections, and project-specific observations/evaluations
Monitor and inspect roadway construction to ensure overall compliance regarding plans, safety, and contract requirements
Conduct record-keeping to ensure all necessary observations are documented
Communicate effectively with colleagues and client representatives
Interpret and work from drawings and specifications
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED
Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant roadway testing
Candidate should be a Georgia Department of Transportation RTT Certified Technician
ACI certification is required
Radiation safety training for the use of Nuclear Density Gauge is required
Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable
Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments
Ability to carry required instruments and equipment
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
The worker is subject to variable climate and environmental conditions including but not limited to extreme cold and heat
