Stellar Energy is a company providing advanced solutions for energy efficiency and capacity. The HR EHS Training Specialist will coordinate safety training needs across manufacturing facilities, develop and lead training initiatives, and ensure adherence to safety standards and policies.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with other Training Specialists and Manufacturing Training Manager regarding curriculum updates, co-facilitation of training courses and identification of supplemental safety training needs

Participates in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to obtain information useful to training facility and integrate information into safety training program

Develops and trains employees in safety, and company policies and practices following manuals, ISO 9001 specifications, and Stellar Energy America standards

Designs, develops and writes safety training curriculum, including outline, text, handouts, and examinations as needed for training to emphasize functional safety aspects of Stellar Energy Manufacturing including but not limited to:

PPE including respirators in paint booth environment

Hazardous Communication

Hazardous Materials

24-hr HazWOPER Site Worker

Lock Out Tag Out

Safety harness and tethering

Heavy Equipment Spotting

Forklift and Crane Safety and Operations

Load safety

Updates and trains Manufacturing Management Team on training initiatives, training programs, and other initiatives as directed by the Training and Development Manager

Observes daily operations in the manufacturing facility to determine the need for new training opportunities

Designs exercises and training practicums, applying knowledge of electronics and mechanics, following machine, equipment, and tooling manuals

Presents safety training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos

Collects data for, creates, and modifies curriculum for diverse types of audiences and learning delivery methods

Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of examination and assessments, and retraining requirements

Performs other related duties as required
