IMA Financial Group is seeking an Employee Benefits Intern for their Summer 2026 program in Dallas. This role offers a blend of core program experiences and specialized departmental projects, allowing interns to gain valuable insights and hands-on experience in the employee benefits sector.

Responsibilities

Assist with project-based work such as preparing Q4 deliverables, organizing open enrollment materials, creating client presentations, and supporting internal planning documents

Support documentation and process improvements by helping refine templates, trackers, and standard operating procedures to enhance team efficiency

Contribute to post-renewal recaps and planning summaries that inform future client strategies and service enhancements

Provide day-to-day operational support through data entry, report formatting, benefit guide updates, and helping with follow-up communications as needed

Attend client meetings for observation and assist with meeting notes, follow-ups, and administrative tasks that improve workflow and readiness of client deliverables

Required

Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in a program related to one of our host departments (Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management and Insurance)

An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to problem-solve, think critically, and provide creative solutions

Preferred

Students anticipated to graduate in Spring 2026, December 2026, or Spring 2027

Interest in insurance-related roles; involvement in insurance clubs or Gamma Iota Sigma

Previous work or internship experience in a professional services or similar environment
