USAJOBS is seeking an Operations Assistant for the Non-Appropriated Fund Community Programs at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam in Honolulu, HI. The role focuses on providing customer service and supporting the MWR community recreation program, particularly in the Meeting Rooms.

Responsibilities

Monitors operations of facility or assigned area, normally during absence of the club manager and/or assistant manager, and during the workday, nights or on weekends

Responsible for the issue, receipt, and control of contracts and payments

Prepares reports of significant occurrences during the shift

Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer issues

Inspects and secures facility at the beginning and end of the shift

Maintains and enforces security for funds, merchandise, supplies, equipment and property in accordance with directives and regulations, to include conducting walkthrough inspections with customers before and after functions

Provides event/function set up and break down of equipment as needed

Must be able to understand A/V equipment and troubleshooting

Required

Experience which provides knowledge of facility operations, meeting room or conference center operations, business operations, or equivalent leadership is encouraged

Familiarity with phone etiquette, customer service and relations

Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, and to provide work direction to other employees

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Possess a valid driver's license

Must pass all applicable records and background check

Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check
