Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a Simulator Systems Technician/Field Engineer 3 to work on a team executing integration efforts on the Modeling, Simulation, and Training environment at the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center – Nellis. This role involves providing on-site M&S support for the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center and assisting in the delivery of advanced tactics, training, and test capabilities.

Responsibilities

Performs operations and maintenance on all systems in order to ensure reliability, availability and maintainability of JITTC-N systems

Provides troubleshooting to ensure all systems are operational for customer support

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems

Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal

Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints

Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

Required

5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience

Previous experience working with network protocols

Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

Current Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification - https://public.cyber.mil/wid/cwmp/dod-approved-8570-baseline-certifications/

Must have ability to work flexible schedule to support customer requirements

Must have had an active Top Secret clearance within the last 24 months

Ability to obtain and maintain DoD TS/SCI and relevant SAP/SAR Clearance
