Responsibilities

Place and track purchase orders for inventory and non-inventory parts

Create orders consistent with PFEP and provide visibility to exceptions

Manage day-to-day purchasing operations

Negotiate the release of all purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures

Maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet production requirements and achieve monthly/annual inventory targets

Review inventory levels and issue/modify orders for stock replenishment applying best practices for inventory reduction and inventory optimization

Coordinate with cross-functional teams on material requirements

Process non-confirming material back to suppliers

Follow up on critical shipments to ensure timely arrival at our dock

Support supplier transition initiatives ensuring no disruption to supply of parts during transition

Support new product roll out by assisting in establishing the supply chain for the new product

Maintain confidential company information

Participate in continuous improvement processes and Kaizen events
