Responsibilities

Lead the development lifecycle of utility-scale solar projects—from greenfield scouting through to financial close or sale
Architect and drive regional greenfield strategies informed by market analytics, technical feasibility, interconnection potential, and permitting pathways
Manage and mentor high-performing development teams, contractors, and cross-functional partners to exceed project and business milestones
Represent TERUSA (TotalEnergies Renewables USA) in community engagement, lease negotiations, permitting dialogues, and project finance preparations
Own development budgets, risk mitigation, CRM tracking, and strategic evaluations to power success at every phase
Actively participate in safety, compliance, and sustainability initiatives aligned with TotalEnergies’ values and the MAESTRO Management System

Required

7–10 years of experience in renewable energy development, with a strong focus on utility-scale solar/storage
Experience developing data centers strongly desired
Strategic and operational excellence in project management; PMP certification preferred
Experience in multiple U.S. solar markets required
Proven ability to manage direct reports and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, complex environment
Sharp negotiation skills and deep knowledge of land acquisition, permitting, finance, and interconnection
Passion for team mentorship, ethical leadership, and collaborative problem-solving
Subject matter expertise (e.g., real estate, finance, environmental, permitting, tax abatements) highly valued
Master's Degree in a relevant field is a plus

Preferred

PMP certification preferred
Experience developing data centers strongly desired
Master's Degree in a relevant field is a plus
