Start in 2026IBM is a leading technology company that is seeking a Technical Enablement Specialist Intern to join their IBM Z Ecosystem team. In this role, you will engage with IBM clients and partners, working on performance testing, infrastructure design, and creating technical demonstrations to support IBM Z and LinuxONE technology.

Responsibilities
Contribute to performance testing and IT economics studies
Contribute to IBM Z and LinuxONE capacity and performance studies
Infrastructure design, deployment, and readiness activities supporting IBM Z and LinuxONE technology, networking, and storage environments
Designing and building client-ready demos, workshops, and labs in a variety of IBM Z and LinuxONE HW and SW focus areas
Contribute to IBM Tech Training content and lab (exercises) development
Coordinate speaker preparation, event materials, track attendance, engagement, and other tasks as assigned. Compile reporting on events
Provide scheduling, meeting coordination, and follow-up support for Z Skills program workstreams
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
Flexible and self-starter to adapt to dynamic work environment
Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn enterprise technology
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
Preferred
Foundational IBM Z and LinuxONE knowledge
Foundational Linux knowledge
Foundational understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, or databases
Foundational knowledge of agile development practices
Programming experience
Automation experience
Containerization skills
Data science and AI skills
Customer service experience
Experience as a program/project manager
Knowledge in working with metrics and data tracking for program reporting
